AVATAR & support: KRASHKARMAThe Swedish metal band Avatar is now up to date with their third and self titled album. They have developed a new more mature and melodic sound on this album, mixed by Tobias Lindell (Europe). Avatar released their debut album Thoughts of no tomorrow in 2006 when they were just eighteen years old. The debut album was released in Europe and entered top three on the metal album chart back home in Sweden. ------------------------------------------ Die High-Energy Alternative Band KRASHKARMA wird Ende 2008 in Los Angeles ins Leben gerufen. Anfang 2009 veroeffentlichen sie die EP "Seven Deadly Sounds" in eigener Regie und touren achtmal durch die USA und werden sogar auf Festivals in Afrika/Marokko eingeladen. Dies bleibt auch in der Hollywood-Szene nicht unbemerkt und die Band um Ralf Dietel (Produzent, Sänger und Gitarrist) und Nicole Skistimas (Drums, Vocals) gewinnt den "Rock City News Award" für die "Beste Independent-Band auf Tour". 2010 nimmt die Band den Longplayer "Straight To The Blood" auf, der ueber Fastball/Sony in Europa erscheint. Gitarrist Ralf Dietel lebt für sein Instrument und spielte u.a. mit Künstlern wie NINE INCH NAILS und ist aktuell auf Tour mit der deutschen Punkrocklegende WIZO. Die preisgekrönte Nicole Skistimas spielt eine wichtige Rolle an Schlagzeug und Gesang bei der Entstehung von KRASHKARMA. Ihr Stil ist mit kennzeichnend für die Vision der Band. Die attraktive Niki legt großen Wert auf höchste Präzision, sowie für ihr gefühlvolles Spiel, wofür ihr das ROCK CITY NEWS MAGAZINE sogar die Auszeichnung"Best Female Drummer" in Los Angeles verleiht. KRASHKARMA sind im September 2010 exclusiv auf Deutschlandtour um ihr Debut Album (VÖ 8. Oktober) zu promoten! The second album Schlacht was released in 2007 and the big break came the same year when Avatar was picked by In Flames to support them on their sold out Scandinavian tour. Since then they have also supported Megadeath, Stone Sour and Obituary. Abatar recently toured with Hardcore Superstar in Europe and more European tours are planned in the winter and spring of 2010. This album is for sure one of the most interesting metal releases in 2010.
